Political discussion has for too long been characterized by unending argument and an unwillingness to listen to differing points of view. Rhetoric on both extremes of the political spectrum has stalled necessary reforms. Anti-government sentiment has reached all time depths. I am not anti-government. I am pro good government. Let’s minimize the spite and disrespect and seek a more participatory movement towards progress. An efficient, effective government contributes to a free citizenry. We must demand more from our elected officials. I promise to work to find the best solutions to achieve those goals, and to take a proactive approach toward oversight of government regulatory agencies. We have seen what extreme partisan government produces. It is now time for a rational, reasonable approach to ensure future generation’s access to the American Dream.
